One of several large scale colonies which were designed as large term tests for AI guidance and development. Daev, the AI system in charge of Ahwe, reacted outside of parameters and restrained all 2 million citizens, resulting in the death of over a quarter million in the settlement; see the AI Before Dawn Incident.
