Shinjo Takeshi
Shinjo Takeshi, the representative of the Unicorn Clan in Plum Tree Onsen Village. Following a recent injury sustained in a skirmish along the Unicorn Clan's borders, Takeshi has sought refuge in the healing waters of the village's renowned onsen.
Role: As Takeshi focuses on his recovery, he immerses himself in the study of the traditional art of ikebana, the art of flower arrangement. Under the tutelage of a local sensei, Isawa Kaede , he dedicates himself to mastering the intricate techniques and aesthetic principles of this ancient art form, finding solace and inspiration amidst the delicate beauty of nature.
Appearance: Large man, with badly injured left arm. He wears simple, loose purple robes that he can easily remove.
Personality: Takeshi seems to be annoyed at all times. He often grunts in pain, and then makes his way to the Onsen. He only seems to lighten up when he is practicing Ikebana.
Motivation: As Takeshi undergoes his journey of healing and self-discovery, he remains ever mindful of his duty to his clan and his people. Though his injury may have temporarily sidelined him from the battlefield, he sees this period of respite as an opportunity to strengthen his body, mind, and spirit, so that he may return to his duties with renewed vigor and determination. Through his study of ikebana and his immersion in the healing waters of the onsen, Takeshi seeks not only physical restoration but also spiritual enlightenment, finding strength and inspiration in the beauty and serenity of Plum Tree Onsen Village.
