Kogen Province, a serene and picturesque region under the auspices of the Phoenix Clan , is characterized by its sprawling rural landscapes and tranquil natural beauty. Isawa no Mori (Forest of Isawa): Dominating the southern portion of the province, Isawa no Mori is a vast and ancient forest teeming with diverse flora and fauna. This sacred woodland is revered by the Phoenix Clan, with many of its trees considered to be imbued with the spirits of the ancestors and kami.
Foothills: Much of Kogen Province is composed of gently rolling foothills, their verdant slopes dotted with farms, hamlets, and shrines. The landscape is lush and fertile, ideal for agriculture and the cultivation of various crops, especially rice and tea.
Northern Wall Mountains: Forming the province's northern border, the Northern Wall Mountains rise majestically into the sky, their rugged peaks a natural barrier against potential threats from the north. These mountains are often cloaked in mist, adding to their mysterious and imposing presence.
