General Summary

Previous Report : Session 8: Ripples on the Water

The UH return to Yabott with the books of knowledge and begin preparations to leave for Madwick.
Jacq'ee Lumber and Eniver - The Baker discuss the need for a new baker in order to better supply the town with food to keep morale and energy high.
Eniver - The Baker has tried to teach these 'dumblings' how to bake however no-one has proven worthwhile. Eniver - The Baker fears letting someone unskilled bake for the town would actually reduce morale.
Eniver - The Baker believes the only hope would be to find another baking master, or at least someone who has been inducted into the Chefs Guild.
Jacq'ee Lumber promises to find a baker and attempt to bring them back.

Dia B. Lerist and Rowen Ashe discuss how best to convert people after Dia B. Lerist witness the poor attempt at the Abbey of the Quil.
Rowen Ashe agrees to help Dia B. Lerist when he is free to do so.

Ashe Cinders and Christol 'Kit' Abistel requests permission from Rowen Ashe in order to spend some of the communal money. Rowen Ashe has no problem with this, given the town is rather self sufficient.
Christol 'Kit' Abistel informs Rowen Ashe of the task she now has to return Oliver Frooe's belongings to his girlfriend in Madwick.

The UH settle in the Tomb of the Dread King for the evening.
Talon Gold reads his new book of Dunamancy, and learns how the original Talon was able to summon him here. Talon Gold believes he would be able to do the same.
Talon Gold also reads a theory regarding echo weapons, and that by channeling Dunamancy whilst fighting has the potential to create an Echo weapon.

Dia B. Lerist reads through his book of enchantment, picking up some new spells.
Arabella Ashglade - The Librarian is given the rest of the books to study, including the translation book which she'll be able to use to further her and Fletch Dangerfield's attempts at translating the wall carvings.
Jacq'ee Lumber begins training Dia B. Lerist in fighting after his abysmal display at the Abbey of the Quil, where he healed one of the guards with a punch.

The following morning, the UH set out on their journey to Madwick, taking several precautions.
Upon reaching the outskirts, Talon Gold sends an echo to provide a reconnaissance report of the town's defenses and guards.

Being confident that they should be able to walk in with the general foot traffic, the UH decide to split up into small groups and rendezvous in the town center.
Dia B. Lerist, Jacq'ee Lumber, Ashe Cinders, and Talon Gold find themselves in the town center, however after Christol 'Kit' Abistel does not arrive, they begin to worry.
