Session 8: Ripples on the Water

General Summary

Previous Report : Session 7: Thirst for Knowledge

• Machali treads water and struggles to get back in the boat.
• Talon Gold attempts to swim closer, but the Water Wolves begin to nip at him.
• Jacq'ee Lumber jumps in the water and rodeos a Water Wolf like an absolute nut case.
• The Water Wolves cold breath nearly brings Dia to the brink of death.
• Ashe Cinders is caught and dragged into the water.
• Ashe Cinders shifts into a Giant Crocodile and is able to defend herself from the Water Wolves.
• Eventually the UH dispatch the pack of Water Wolves, and are able to continue crossing The Verdelen River in safety.

• Upon reaching land, Jacq'ee Lumber ceremonially burns her reasonably well crafted boats.
• The party make some headway into land before setting up camp.

• Christol 'Kit' Abistel and Machali hear crying in the night and wake up the party to investigate.
• Christol 'Kit' Abistel soon discovers that she can hear the soul of the dead archer, Oliver Frooe.
• Oliver is confused, however with Machali's comforting is able to settle. He asks that Christol 'Kit' Abistel return his belongings to his pregnant girlfriend Lisarah in Madwick.
• Christol 'Kit' Abistel agrees to do this for him, and Machali requests to stay within the ring to keep Oliver comforted.
