For several years the Kingdom of Legalaia has lived in peace and prosperity, a much-needed respite after the travesties of the Great War.
Surviving Legion Commanders of the war were gifted large provinces of land, and with these provinces created strong communities. Having seen the devastation and suffering wrought by the war, most Legion Commanders were intent on ensuring such events did not happen again. As such most provinces were built upon peace and cooperation.
What they did not prepare for, was The Calamity, the largest earthquake that Legalaia had ever experienced. Destruction was wrought in the southern provinces, raising towns and cities, and crumbling mountains.
One such mountain revealed an ancient temple as it crumbled, the likes of which had not been seen in a millennium. The Golden Hand, the Queen's elite band of Knights were summoned in order to explore the ruin and ensure that no threat lurked inside...
