Session 1: Tomb of the Dread King

General Summary

Previous Report : Session 0: The Dread Kings Arrival

Time Skip Quests  
  • Epolesha seemed without conflict however they did appear to have been turned into Loyalists.
  • Ashe tried in vain to see if her family were still there or alive but was unable to see them.
  • They were able to bring back some farming, and blacksmithing equipment, as well as some Unwilling.
   
  • Lumberland seemed untouched, no one had been living there in a while.
  • No signs of violence at the house.
  • Ceremonial Axe was missing.
  • Jackie contacted family but everyone seemed to only reply, "That's nice my dear, stay safe."
  • The only family to reply normally were those located in the Hells.
  • On the way home they encountered and brought home more Unwilling.
    Present Time  
  • The UH read Fletch's notebook and received some intelligence on the world.
 
  • The UH investigated the tomb for any answers. They find carvings depicting the following:
    • A woman sitting on a throne with a man ominously behind her.
    • A man with black mist filling him up.
    • A mountain with a golden light emanating from behind.
    • A man channeling energy through the Golden Chalice, holding another man in the air.
    • The Golden Chalice sitting on a pedestal, with energy flowing into a tomb.
  • Fletch ponders that the Dread King may be a member of the Royal Family that was rejected for the crown in some way.
 
  • Fletch recalls that there was a man in the old Green Ravens who studied Dunamancy, but he could not remember the name.
 
  • Fletch recounts of how Neena caught his scent, and in a fierce battle, dove into a river to escape.
  • Upon waking up on shore, the Chalice was not in it's satchel, as such it must have continued down the river.
  • Upon hearing that the UH killed Neena in Anstigat, he highlights that Breena can summon a new companion at will.
  • Breena would have been devastated to lose Neena.
  • The UH set out to find the Chalice, without Fletch, who fears his scent may lead Neena on their trail.
 
  • The UH catch up with a Green Raven party who were sent to investigate a village.
    • They only had two hours of intel.
    • Only two Loyalists had been seen so far.
    • Jackie sent a raven back to Fletch to see if he could come and help.
    • Decided to carry on and return once the GR had more intel of the area.
 
  • Encountered Loyalist camp.
    • Killed 3 Knights and a Captain.
    • Kit sparked PTSD in Rowen as she executed the Captain in the same manner Adeste killed Rowen.
    • Looted their capes as disguises.
    • Used the camp to long rest.
