Promise Malaborg-Bheuren
Tiefling, born 1277 AK into an unknown family, and given to the care of the Hospital of Ekirena as an infant. Enrolled as an apprentice of the Academy of Gildenschloss in due course; passed her apprenticeship and enrolled as a Neophyte scholar of Conjuration in 1295AK. Granted the grade of Adept in 1299AK (thesis: "Druidic Wayglyphs in the Ilsean Tradition of Esoteric Architecture"), and went on to perform further research in similar fields at Kalamak. Seconded to the First Cohort Arcane in 1301AK, where she played a significant role in the events leading to the Battle of the Swan's Road in 1302AK; she was anointed a banner-knight of House Bheuren in 1303AK, taking on the name "Malaborg" in homage to Ilse Sarren van Malaborg (who, as well as the architect of the Gilded Tower and Tonnenkreek Schloss, was the last Countess of Malaborg prior to its division into the Palatine Barony of Tonnenkreek and the County of Grebbursvaal). Served as adjutant to the High-Captain of the Ninth Grand Regiment from 1303AK to 1314AK, before returning to Gildenschloss with her wife Ekaterina Malaborg-Bheuren and their infant daughter Rosalieke Malaborg-Bheuren. Her daughter also attended the Academy and graduated an adept of the Faculty Militant; Rosalieke is now the Palatine Baroness of Tonnenkreek. Promise was appointed @vice-of Conjuration in 1327AK. Her research interests include geomancy, esoteric architecture, and arcane transposition.
