Azishemu
Azishemu is a magician from the city of Vash Ossai, who served as Archmage of Motion during the time of Queen Melekhandra.
During the Fall of Vash Ossai, she became trapped in the collapsing royal palace and died; from a combination of exposure to the energies of the Necromantic Engines and the sheer force of her will to survive, she reanimated herself at the moment of death, becoming undead. Unable to leave the palace and risk further exposure to the radiation emitting from the engines, she spent centuries attempting to derive the 24-digit sigil sequence which would allow her to activate the city's teleportation matrix and escape, but to no avail; after centuries of isolation she eventually lapsed into solipsistic madness, and when a party of adventurers were able to reach her in 1344AK, initially refused to believe that they, or anything outside of the chamber that she was trapped in, was not a mere figment of her imagination.
Azishemu was able to escape the city with the aid of the adventurers, who had learned the sigil sequence from the Anima, but in doing so destabilised the already badly damaged Necromantic Engines, draining a great deal of power from the Wardstorm protecting Tchokayahattak.
Azishemu has since parted ways with the adventurers who rescued her.
