The Jorazia Institude stands as the first and last line of defense for the nomadic Allusv (Rift Elves). Only the best, most adaptable and creative are hand picked for the honor of joining the Institute. The Allusv people have developed the belief that it is better to strike first. End the war before it begins. In the past they have been known to hit so hard as to ensure that a potential enemy is never allowed to rise back up. They work to know everything about their enemy's positions, their strengths and weaknesses, their intentions and motivations and their timetable. They chose when and where to strike. This allows small teams to be dispatched. Earning them the reputation across the galaxy as one man armies.
Since their merging with the Rhinavren Council they have only lost one battle. They specialize in information acquisition and counterintelligence. Their roles within the fleet include all those of the Seeker caste as well as infiltration, assassination, sabotage, and counterterrorism. They make up the backbone of the Fleet's Security Forces.

In the religious traditions of the Allusv people the Void represented the place where lost revelations are hidden. At one time it had been given as an honorific to those who rediscovered knowledge but with the Allusv people's entrance into the galactic theater priorities shifted. The ruling Conclave at the time decided that it was necessary for an intelligence agency to be created. They pressed the Daelshenji (seeker explorer) caste into service to create the foundations of the institute. They gave the entire caste the honorific of Jorazia for their service. Since then they have served diligently. The Jorazia Institute is accredited for having predicted the coming Widow's War, some even claiming that they knew the time and place of the initial strike that would set off the war.
