Jonathel

Praetor Jonathel of Dorset is a strict military leader of that county, having assumed the position after the death of the previous Praetor and his heir at the Battle of Saint Albans. He fought for Arthur in the Roman War and led half a legion of warriors at Soissons.

Praetor Jonathel has a stern visage, one which almost never cracks. Prior to praetorship he had led the forces of Dorset on several occasions as marshal, and had spent more time out in the field than at court, which has shaped his body to be hard and scarred.

The praetor is a cruel and vengeful man, but also proud and just. He practices his own form of righteousness with a brutality that has been caused no doubt by his years at arms, fighting raiders, neighbors and other evildoers. He is fiercely protective of Dorset, and will brook no violation of his beloved county.
