General (Admiral)- commands multiple companies or ships. Usually in command of an entire region.
Captain- controls a ship, or a company. Usually in command of one battle.

Note: this ignores any lieutenants or aides an individual officer might have.   Motto: "One God, One Empress, One People" (the motto changes slightly depending on who currently rules, changing between "Empress" or "Emperor")

Assets

The Ilisuaqian Army is expert with siege weapons- ballistae, scorpions, and catapults are often mounted on ships, coasts, and cities. Offensively, they also can construct trebuchets and primitive cannons.   Additionally, Ilisuaqia eschews traditional horse-based cavalry for heavier rhino cavalry.

History

Before the campaign began: the army took the Isle of Tussaq, and is pressing in towards the Koppelian mainland. They are currently assaulting the Southwestern peninsula of Lavrentiy.
  • The Koppelian Offensive is split into 3 parts: The Northern Offensive, the Southern Offensive, and the Central Offensive
    • The Northern Offensive is meant as a diversion for the Central Offensive
    • The Southern Offensive is designed to remove the ability for Koppelia to trade with Gedia, and ultimately isolate Koppelia
    • The Central Offensive is the main offensive, meant to split the country in half (by land, at least), and ultimately capture the capital
  • pushed out of Bjordur, and towards Nevenes.
  • encircled Nevenes, intending on taking the city
  • The Southern Offensive has been almost entirely successful
  • The Northern Offensive has stalled after encountering Olafshem
  • The Central Offensive, while initially strong, has stalled out due to Koppelia unleashing dark magicks
