DNA EXPANDED

Launtrel Humans are not unlike the humans populating most other realms of this universe; their personalities, cultures, ambitions, and drives are still the same as their ancestors that came to Launtrel in a brave and courageous move to populate a brand new realm. However, due to the exposure to the Feywilds over centuries, the DNA in humans have slowly started to evolve to reflect the world around them. They are still on average 5" - 6" tall, and their physical appearances still have the the same variety as before but now their skin tones, eye colors, hair colors and nail colors have mutated to allow a greater range of colors than their ancestorial fleshy tones they were known for.

Thanks to this evolution, the human skin tone can range from the usual fleshy tones we know to pink, purple, blue, yellow, green, orange, and red. While each have their own unique shade or tone, the shade range goes from a pale/pastel to a deep and rich version of the color. The colors have not yet to develop into neon or other overly vibrant shades like 'hot pink.' Their eye colors can now include any of the above colors with the normal human pupil, as well as the colors their ancestors started with. Although there does not seem to be a genetic relation to the skin tone, hair color, and eye colors from parent to child, it is a subject the Atithe Center is currently studying.

STRIVING FOR SOCIETY

Unlike their ancestors whom were a young race among old, the Launtrel Humans were on an equal playing field with the other races migrating to Launtrel. However, since the foundation of the Human race was built on that struggle to survive and make their names in the world, as well as the ambitions of building up societies, Launtrel Humans became frontrunners in the building era of the realm. They led the charge, hand in hand with Horned Ones, to build the regions of Launtrel with what we have today. Of course, everyone pitched in this time, but the true leaders that rose in this era were of Human descent. Ask any Launtrel Human of their family's history and they will most likely launch into a heroic account of great-great-great-great-great-great so and so who led the council that build this or that building in this or that city. Pride a shared and common thread between Launtrel Humans, even with their vast range of personalities.

Age: Humans reach their adulthood in their late teens and live no more than 110 years.
