Auti, Independence (Ought-tee)

OVERVIEW

Auti is Falmes' Arch-Fey, whom represents the virtue of Independence. Both strong and beautiful, Auti is known for both her fierceness and fairness. Unlike almost every Arch-Fey, Auti lives among side her citizens as their leader. Traveling nomadically from one village, town, or city to the next, she has a guard of the bravest, strongest, and most respectable warriors with her. This clan is called "Solaris" and feature tattoos of the sun on their right biceps that glow when the sun is dark at night. She is loved by her people and know she will protect them from harm. Auti works hard so her region can stay independent from other regions, and thus, prefers others do not move into her region. People who wish to migrate to Falmes must first prove themselves through trials. 

DESCRIPTION

Auti is the smallest of the Arch-Fey standing at only eight feet tall, choosing instead to look more similar to her people as to not put herself on too high of a pedestal. She is unique in the sense that the body of her centaur form is based off an Okapi, a rare and magical creature of the realm. Her long and and stocky Okapi half is a dark brown with white striped legs that gives her about five feet in height. The human half comes out of her body where the neck and head would be, slimming into the form of a beautiful woman. The brown from the body carries to her human flesh and she keeps short and braided brown hair. Her face is striking and sharp, the embodiment of natural beauty. Frequently she decorates her face with bright blue make up, although sometimes she choses gold. 

At night, glowing gold tattoos lace her human half in ever-changing designs. They often resembles rays of sunshine or actual imagery of the sun. When she gets angry, these tattoos flare and may cause burns to those standing near her. Her voice is deep and smooth, full of strength and power even in a whisper.

PERSONALITY

Known to be a fierce but loving Arch-Fey, Auti is the only Arch-Fey that takes an active participation in the every day life of her region to the extent that she does. She does consider herself a Queen like Nekka, but unlike Nekka she is not so inaccessible. If there is a problem to be solved, she expects for herself and her clan of Solaris warriors to be found to handle it. She is the law and order of the region, but because of this and the respect the citizens have for her, the region is prosperous and mostly peaceful. Usually, she will spend one week in a village, town, or city before moving on to the next. If there are greater problems, she will spend two or more weeks. When the location is peaceful again, she will move on. 

Due to her independent nature, Auti is very rarely interested in trade with other regions, nor is she welcoming to outsiders who wish to settle. If someone approaches her asking to settle in Falmes, they must prove they have skill that would be beneficial to the region. Once that skill the person is offering is identified, they must go through a series of trials in order to be welcomed in. In the case that someone settles in Falmes without her expressed permission, they will be killed on sight. For these reasons, she is both feared and respected.
