Sand dyes

There are several materials in the ship, that when mixed with sand and crushed stone, could give some then a some nice colours.
  • There is plaquetes of rust found in unused and forgoten corners of the ship, where normal metal have been left in touching the special laminates sheet which form the ship. They give a nice dark orange. It can sometimes be harvested is metal, that defoliates, is hung near the port and then left forgotten.
  • In the evaporators on the top level, an undesirable acumulation could make them malfunction, but i can be use for a rich sea green,
  • What's left of the wood, after it's burn, give us the black color, which can be diluted to grey, if less is used.
  • The most beautiful of the colors you can give to sand is obtained from the crystal down below. The range from blue to purple hues, depending of the section fractioned, but collecting it is dangerouus. There are rumours of people disapearing there and even if those rumours are not real, the sound always present in those chambers alone are a good discouragnet
  • Outside the ship, there are other sources of sand dye:
  • In the place where the river meet the sea peacefully, you can find some areas, where the land changes color, you can collect some of it and dry it for some nice and rich red and yellow color
  • In the sea coast and several caves around, the white rock grows is almost always prismatic and fibrous in a parallel crystal habit. They often occurs in seams, some of them quite long, and is often attached to a matrix or base rock there may be a silky and fibrous form. The give a nice pearly white.
  • Most of this dyes are called sand dyes, because the should not be used for anthing else than to color the sand to make sand pictures. There are other dyes for fabric or to used in the skin.   Once the dye has been collected, they should be mixed with the sand, until it has the desired color. The colors can be used to sand paint.
