History
Born into slavery to serve the evil Lord of the Runxa River, Balgoris, Reja Gann suffered torture and despair in the old Lord's court. After four centuries of torment and espionage, Reja Gann discovered the True Name of Lord Balgoris. Rather than uttering his name to force Balgoris to kill himself, Reja Gann secretly commanded him to serve as their puppet while Reja Gann garnered more power. As the millennia passed, Reja Gann continued to accrue power by forming an archive of Names known as the Maulratus Vault. Under threat of harnessing a fiend's True Name, Reja Gann subdued her detractors and became the ultimate ruler of the Runxa River and the lands beyond. Reja Gann reigns over their domain and maintains order by suppression throughout most of Lon'Dun, all while guarding the Maulratus Vault deep inside the Palace of Runxa. Under Reja Gann's guidance, the Runxa River Valley has prospered and become the largest population center in Lon'Dun. The Runxa people worship Reja Gann as their god and offer bounties to them to express their devotion, though Reja Gann's one request of their worshipers is the continued collection of names.The Maulratus Codex
Each temple of the Church of Runxa is blessed with one edition of the Maulratus Codex. These magical books are enchanted to contain an infinite number of blank pages in which the church practitioners enter the names of all people, places, and items they encounter. The entries made into the codices are instantly copied into the master archives inside the Maulratus Vault. Should a copy of the Maulratus be destroyed or otherwise rendered incapable of transmitting information to the Vault, an Envoy of Reja Gann will deliver a new document to the Church at a high cost to the worshipers at the temple.Divine Domains
