Wimets

Under the mane-like lush hair of this leonid centauroid race, lurks a long and rich wisdom stemming from their tribal and shamanistic traditions. Most druids recognize the significance of this folk in either the discovery of the main gods of nature that are followed on the current Era, or the knowledge of how to channel their power. The degree of harmony with nature and its cycles the wimets have, is rivaled perhaps only by the lizardfolk’s tribes.
Ferocity, honor and ancestry are core values for most wimets. Traditional misinterpretation by early scholars when encountering or researching their culture, led to prejudice against the tribal structures of this race’s social tapestry. They are still labeled as savages or brutes in some places or social circles. And their triad based pantheon too. The main entities or this urancient nature gods are Tia, goddess of thunderstorms, Madrún, god of eruptions and Aslawimt, goddess of the sun.
Wimet behavior and culture are often laconic and exhibit an empirically driven mindset. That directs them into valuing action and boldness over passiveness and narrow focus. While it can seem whimsical or dumb impulsiveness, thanks to their sharp senses and heightened intuition, they can often arrive to good responses to complex situations. The celerous decisions and appear to be merely “lucky” when they launch themselves in a brave charge after minutes of consideration instead of hours of planning and the assault turns out coordinated and flawless.
