Lizardfolk

The Lizardfolks’ tribes are a millennia old group, spanning the multiverses and are still a largely misunderstood people overall. Lots of commoners, along with a bunch of their sages hold discriminatory beliefs labeling them as callous, unfeeling and/or primitive when compared to better known, mammalian folks.

Contrary to these shortcomings, their culture is both deeply ancient and plural, even considering that the 13 most prominent and better known tribes are not a high number, their traditions, traits, garments styles and bodies themselves are distinct. Between the uncommon psionic pale crested azurechs and the hulking iojirnah zealots, these saurial cultures and intelligences are as varied as even the humans, some say.

The Second Cataclysm, that brought the dragon folks to Lantartia, witnessed the gathering of most of the rescued and surviving lizardfolk. Across the Eras of the Third Eon, their tribes relearned to build civilization by themselves, which helped ever more groups and ancient reptilian peoples to flock to the continent home to the draconic empire, Lantaris. They may not fit general humanoid or even mammal like assumptions of civilized lifestyles, but it’d be an error to assume they are not the ancient, wise, balanced people, that coalesced after surviving longer and worse than most could ever conceive possible. Such error might be the last one makes, as some tales go.
