Cobins

For almost all of their history the cobins were largely ignored and despised from other powers of the world. As they reached civilization level relatively late, their vulnerable settlements became a widely known staple among other peoples; for those who would jest about and those who would pillage them alike. Combined to their overall physical frailty and lack of military traditions, this led to disaster and a very short lived civilization.

Overwhelmingly regarded as yet another savage goblinoid race in scholarly parchments, be it from simple confusion or despise (as their name in the Common tongue suggests), all that’s left of the cobin kingdoms that never were, are the travelers and refugees that quickly bolstered their already very successful caravans, remodeled in a network of nomad communities. These caravans are the most wide traveling ones known and this high risk endeavor is known to wield rare preciosities and wondrous curiosity.

Physically they are somewhat smaller than hartenders and have furry bodies with bear shaped ears, short dog like snout and upright long haired short tails. In the last century they became much more widely known and respect (or feared) as it was discovered they are uncanny shooters with one handed (not thrown) ranged weapons. Some say this offsets their reputed weaknesses altogether...
