Bariaurs

Behind their goat lower bodies and magnificent often curved or straight caprine horns, Bariaurs bring a history of celestial descent. They originated in Ellysium, the plane of pure good and endless profound joy. The arrival and definitive settlement in the material plane traced a crusading path through the shakes of chaos to become an emblem force for good in the world. They selflessly helped to establish some of the first civilization centers of the Second Eon. In this process they lost their outsider celestial nature, as their essences tuned to the material world where they’ve spent generations in.
As the cosmic instability of the cataclysm subsided, this change became fixed. The wisdom of their cosmic understanding remained though. With their propensity to travel far and wide, those traits led them to develop a culture of heroism and athleticism, whose deeds left deep positive marks and reputation on Lantartian history. Bariaurs are famed for the stalwartness and charisma of their adventurous clerics, druids and paladins. Founders of legacies that inspire ever newer heroes.
