History
The city began as a farming settlement next to the Balferen River and grew in popularity due to its proximity to the river. It became a trade hub, using the river to transport goods to other settlements. The locations of the naturally occurring portals aided in travel and transport, making it an ideal location for long-distance trade.
After the population reached 30,000, and the queen at the time built her summer home there, it finally became the capital when two generations later, the new king moved his family there permanently.
