The insertion of Saltkrigere soldiers into the Jurejun population under the guise of being banished criminals.
After the brutal defeat of the Saltkrigere, they returned home, only to be told they had to return once more. Kanel had developed plan in case of their failure. They were to be banished and integrated into the families covertly, before turning on them when the time was right (they were to turn when the other half of the fleet came for battle). The Jurejun families were defensive at first but eventually let their guards down, and even trained the spies in how to defend against future invasions and integrate them into the various families they sought out. Occasional correspondence with Steirvem let the spies describe the ins and outs of Jurejun defenses, travel patterns, and main residences. Eventually, Kanel Logratte decided it was time to strike. He created a route around the islands that would work best and sent ships, now armed with the venom of poisonous slugs which the priests had been breeding on Lovelir. Now armed with poison-tipped arrows, the overthrow began in the night. The spies executed several leaders and warriors in their sleep before any alarm was raised. More than two dozen men sat in each galley, arcing arrows down on the families as they rushed around in hysterics. This was done with one family at a time until they had destroyed the major established territories. They then burned many of the trees and habitable structures before pushing on any stragglers that remained. The entire ordeal took three weeks once the fighting had begun. Once Kanel heard the news, he made the Saltkrigere the official transfer fleet for those who were banished to Jurejun. The orders were now to execute them upon reaching Jurejun, under the guise that banishment was still a damnation and weeks of torture for anyone sentenced there.
