Military action

The small assault against the Shellbay colony, which resulted in a cascade of military action from the Snow-Rocks and Shellbay residents.

After Hamish had ordered enough ships for a military blockade along Mot D'nir, Kanel Logratte had cancelled the order. He thought that the sheer number of ships would be a waste of time and resources, needing as many as one hundred and fifty. This would be the largest fleet in human history tenfold.   However, shortly after Hamish received the notice of cancellation, there was an attack on their stocks. Further inland of the colony, their plains for livestock grazing were most all burned. Being a particularly dry spout, it all went up like kindling along with any cattle out at the time.   Evidence of the Strand-Bloods was left behind, and as such a letter was immediately sent to Kanel. He finally desisted, and allowed the ships to be built. He had suffered enough embarrassment getting the colony established, and would not see the time wasted if they were destroyed. While the ships were being prepared, Hamish began to prepare for mobilization, sending forces south to prepare camps at the mountains.
