Metallurgy, Constructs in the Icelends

The discovery of metallurgy by humans, as well as the constructs that would teach them how to do it.

After the people of Fjordstrond decided to make way towards the glaciers and hidden tunnels that led to the Icelends, they would make many discoveries. Firstly, they discovered what is now known as a dormant volcano. Glaciers managed to carry their smelted ores down to the waters in the fjords, leaving large collection of fine metals across the waters. Secondly, an expedition of 5 individuals would come into contact with a construct of the skies (called elementals by the humans).   This wise creature took the form of a flying lizard adorned in feathers. It spoke in many tongues, including their own. The elemental mostly spoke in riddles and its origin was never directly stated. Many assume the construct to be an intermediary between the gods and man, with this one being sent by Mitos.   The elemental would teach them the way of metallurgy and allow them to leave, but only if they agreed to plant spires of metal across their lands. Its motivation for this was unknown, but people would go commune with the creature for decades after this, eventually being taught the ways of lightning magics. This elemental's name was Vestergil.
