The movement of Warlords across Trinen's lands, conquering towns and establishing new territories.
As the major cities all but abandoned their outer territories, they had to fend for themselves. With no government action on the horizon, a power vacuum was made. Several people would fight to rule these territories, but it would eventually collapse into chaos, leaving walled in villages that fought each other for food and slaves. Routes were established across the country for roving bands of criminals as well as the movement of slaves for anyone that wished to sell off. While slavery was present in the governments of Trinen, it was regulated and poor treatment of slaves was usually punished. However, those under the reign of warlords were treated brutally. On occasion, warlord forces (or alliances of them) would attack major cities and the closest, still protected villages. This would give way to people seeking Ithitar protection and began the spread of paranoia across both the official governments and Warlord forces regarding the devotion to the dark beings.
