The preparation, travel to, and capture of the proximal bay by the J'barri and Eastern Elves.

After some delay as a result of needless bureaucracy, the J'barri were informed of the best plans to stop the Western Elves from collecting their Waning Rock. The main problem was the lack of functional warships. At this point in time, only the humans and Western Elves had such fleets on hand, and the Saltkrigere already had their mission. A large order of warships was already partially done, but would take almost a year to finish.   After completing their ships, they made for the proximal bay. The first attempt was a wash, as they had no clue what they were heading in to. The Western Elvish ships carrying the Waning Rocks were easily dispatched, but maintaining the area was the problem. After a few days, the crews immediately began to fall ill. Many tried to maintain control over the region, but by the time a few weeks had passed, many sailors were dying in their sleep.   The fleet returned stopped off the coast of Brille for assistance. While Brille had remained uninvolved until now, they did assist the sailors. The Brillens spoke of similar events occurring to those traveling to Old Udundst. Eventually, Western Elvish methods (via the armor and clothing they wore) were found to be reasonably effective. By the year 663, the proximal bay was under control.
