Vestergil Takes Flight

The flight of Vestergil after being told of the Mountainfold.

As travelers mapped out the Icelands, they spoke to Vestergil more and more. Generally, he would request stories about happenings in the world and share his own curiosities with his visitors. On one particular visit, however, his guests told him of the Mountainfold. Upon learning of the tragedy, he abruptly took flight from his cave and disappeared. While his whereabouts were unknown for some time, he eventually returned.   He spoke little of why the news provoked his exodus or where he went.
