Enidur (eh-need-oor)

The Enidur are people of stone, ice, or iron depending on their land of origin. There has been tell of biological portions to the creatures but one has never been felled to determine the truth. The human raiders of Trinen tend to avoid them, and the dwarves consider them to be cousins.
The creatures generally have a humanoid shape with runic carvings down their body. Much like turtles, they can retreat their limbs into a more compact shape, rendering them prone. Some Enidur may retreat in their chassis for years at a time without any need to emerge. Some are said to have been in this state for decades or centuries, enjoying dreams back to their homeland of Geradhen.
