The Re-entry of the Feywild

After 100 years in the ivory forest, a hunting group of about 300 traveling Elves found themselves lost in the area which would be known as the fae peninsula. They ended up accidentally going through a rift into the feywild and leaving the prime material plane. All the remaining Elves within the colonies of the Ivory Forest ended up becoming the Wood Elves.

A large group of the Elves lived peacefully in the Ivory Forest for around 100 years after the initial expedition, with curious Elves often moving into the new colonies of the forest. While many of these Elves would become the Wood Elves of today, the Elven people split once again as a huge hunting party of hundreds of people got lost deep within the forest on the Fae peninsula. Though it was not long before they found themselves suddenly in a new plane after accidentally traveling through a rift in the material plane. This group of Elves were once more in the Feywild, completely isolated from the soon-to-be Sea Elves and Wood Elves.
