Wessen

General Information

Acting as Hydenbur's main port and access to the rest of Laan, Wessen sits on the west coast of Hydenbur. Wessen, despite being a port city doesn't see a great deal of sailors or vessels enter its ports due to the cold climate and frigid waters. However as the sole exporter of Wessen Spirit, a particularly alcoholic beverage known to warm the hearts of its drinkers, Wessen remains a wealthy city.

Demographics

Wessen is more or less owned by its distilleries and their owners. This has lead to several feuds on who controls most of the Wessen Spirit industry, as no two distilleries produce the spirit the exact same way. In one form or another, the city is separated into sectors based on their distillery of choice. These tastes in distilleries vary widely between the populace and are the subject of many a heated debate amongst Wessen's citizens.

The only time these feuds seems to cease is during the various holy days of The Twenty-Two and any religeous ceremonies conducted by the Hydenbur Hierocracy.
