Lakewood

General Information

Lakewood is a logging town surrounded by dense woodland. Named both for this bounty of wood but also for the lake to its west. Within the town's electorate lies Silvaantar who have spoken out against Lakewood's plundering of the woods.

Government

The Lakewood council is made of of old logging families, which has led to tension between Lakewood and their wood-elf neighbours of Silvaantar. Citizens of Lakewood have elected other officials to their council who don't represent the interest of the logging companies, though much of their petitioning falls of deaf ears.
