Hydenbur Proper

General Information

The city of Hydenbur Proper stands atop the tallest cliff-face on Laan, and is the capital of Hydenbur. The city acts as a base for the Hydenbur Hierocracy to both manage the country and maintain the country's faith in The Twenty-Two.

Government

Hydenbur's capital city is governed by the second echelon of the Hydenbur Hierocracy, as the first echelon and Archbishop are tasked with managing the country and its resources.

The Hierocracy's main building, the Deus Atria serves as both a church for the city's denizens to attend religious ceremonies and congregations as well as the base for all governmental discussions such as the passing of lagislature or management of budgets.

Geography

Hydenbur Proper rests at the northern edge of the country, with the Deus Atria half suspended over the edge of the cliffs. Flanking the city of its east and west faces stand the Heaven Peaks, where pilgrims from the heirocracy's lower tiers climb to offer their reverence to the twenty-two who watch over their country.
