Purpose / Function

The Ellbridge Arcanist College is a school for students to study the arcane arts of magic. The school specialises in the arcane tradition, producing many powerful arcanists.

Alterations

More recently, the school has branched out into the occult tradition as well as hiring staff to train burgeoning mages whose magic is innate and not learned.

Architecture

The college takes the form of multiple towering structures surrounding a central courtyard. Each tower reflects a different school of magic, with the library and school administration offices being in the centre.

Defenses

The faculty of the school is trained to perform multiple rituals in the case of emergency. Many of these rituals will protect the school's grounds from external threats. Though some of the staff haven't had to actually defend the school at any point of their lives.

History

The college was established shortly after the first Dossil war, by the powerful arcanist Oberyn Oswald. With his knowledge of arcana he built the first tower in a day, opening it to students a week later. Over his lifetime he built more towers and hired other arcanists before entrusting the school to his children.
The college has always been under the stewardship of an Oswald, passed down through the family line.
