Skeppare

Skeppare is the rank below Drott in the Kingdom of Nionenorete, and in several other areas. It is equivalent to Knight in the Order of Precedence. This title is non-hereditary, like other titles in the Kingdom. It is earned through merit, prowess at arms, and political maneuvering. It is the lowest of titles used in these areas, and may be better thought of as a captain or war-chief. It is not gender specific, so both males and females may hold the title.
