Casserel's Coins

Faustus Casserel's Coins is both a pawn shop, money exchange, and loan service for those in need of financial assistance. Casserel's clients include the poor of the Alley District, as well as the wealthy nobles who often need money exchanged, or notes of credit written for travel.
Casserel has a cousin in Preang who will exchange the notes of credit for coin when a traveler arrives. The notes are time sensitive and identify the person to be given the money, making the notes almost useless if lost or stolen.
While there are many valuable items in the shop, Casserel has never had a theft, something he says is due to his guards who are very vigilant and well-paid.
