Stormsong: Session 3

General Summary

• After chasing a few masked revolutionists into a crowd, the party located Tinesi, who explained the Tannem family drama in more detail. She understands her father's actions but cannot forgive him yet.
• At some point, Barby's chauffer pulled him away from the day's shenanigans and back home, citing that the city may not be safe for him.
• When the party returned to Harscheft Tannem, he was busy packing his things to flee the city in response to the revolutionist's attack earlier that day, citing similar occurrences in other parts of Thundermaw not ending well for magic users like him.
• He advised that the party--mostly magic students themselves--consider leaving town as well.
• He was also relieved to hear Tinesi is still alive and promises to respect her wishes.
• Because Harscheft had excess stock he couldn't take with him, he gave the party their pay plus a bonus magic perfume, and a candle to light and leave in a window overnight if they have questions they want answered.
• Jehik Gobblefern bade farewell to the party once the job was done.
• On the party's way back to campus for the night, the giants emerged from the sea for the first time in a decade to give a statement to the city.
• Their message was an assurance that these revolutionists who call themselves the Swell are being hunted down and will not prevail. Those who know any information on them may be rewarded for turning in individuals or other tips.
• Because the party sluffed school that day to pursue the old and forgotten missing person's case, they had to go to dettention again with Professor Hilmi the following day.
• Hilmi received a stack of fliers on his desk to review--new expeditions had been announced for students to participate in! All expenses paid, extra credit, take-what-you-find (unless it's a magic item) adventures.
• The party, with the exception of Lyra because she felt like she was getting into more than she wanted to when she first arrived, signed on to exploring ancient temple ruins that were recently uncovered.

Money and a bottle of magic perfume to each party member.
