Zanreer is the ultimate god of unbridled war and bloodshed, born from the very bodily instincts for bickering and and power that consumed all of mortalkind. To this Cosmic Warrior, the soul was a hindrance, a weight that would only weigh down those who yearned to fight. In order for the body to flourish in strength, the soul needed to be discarded and its emotions ignored.
To aid him, his angelic order, the Ludis Cofim permeates the Veil, touching the spirits of every living thing, tempting them to discard it and give in to the lust for physical power. Those who do live to become warlords, generals, and even savages who give credence to the saying, "Might makes right."
His worship is often contested by the goddess, Kireen, who seeks to uplift the soul and do away with the body. His angels and hers are often depicted warring against one another across the Veil.

Dwelling

The Cosmic Warrior sits upon his Throne of Conquest at the border between the Veil and Materia, barred from entering Materia due to the Covenant. He takes wandering souls from the Veil and transforms them into new angels of his, forever awaiting the day when he may cross back into Materia. On that day, the Sword Prophecy will be enacted, in which Zanreer brings complete destruction to those who do not swear full fealty to him.

Domains

Zanreer represents the following domains:
Tempest. Zanreer represents might, vengeance, and wrath. He will use every and any method to achieve domination. His truest followers know this and live the same way.
War. Only the physically strongest are fit to live, and war — a bloody exchange with no laws — is the grandest way of determining that. Power is something meant to be conquered.

Alignment

Zanreer represents the following alignments:
Neutral. Only the mightiest may rule in Zanreer's eyes. He cares not for the philosophies or motives that lie behind one's actions. When war comes, he expects the fighters to draw as much blood as possible.
Evil. The only authority the Cosmic Warrior cares for is his own. In even the smallest disagreement, he relishes the opportunity to turn it to violence and force his victory.

Symbol

The common holy symbol used to represent Zanreer is a cluster of swords striking through a pair of crossed blades.

Boon of the Finisher

This is a common boon granted by Zanreer to his champion followers. While you possess this boon, whenever you hit on a weapon or spell attack, you can cause the attack to become a critical hit. Once you use this, you regain this feature after finishing a long rest.

Boon of the Unstoppable

While you possess this boon, you can bypass the damage resistances of any creature.

Boon of the Resilient

While you possess this boon, you have resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage from nonmagical weapons.
