Yuqian, the Docks of Gold
遥远的北方土地上有剑和金属,而遥远的南方土地上有丝绸和挂毯。至于我们,我们的网就是我们的。
To lands far west be there swords and metal, and lands even farther be silks and tapestries. As for us, ours shall be our nets.

Yuqian is a humble town, yet a sprawling one at that! Each season it brings in on average 500 coin’s worth of fish alone from its sole artisanship in fishing (crabs, lobster, shark, you name it). It is a gnomish domain governed by Pan Fang, an old upstart sort of fellow who has calluses on his hands and wrinkles in his eyes that show his years of experience out in the sea.
Naming
The name Yuqian originates from the root Dachian word, "Yu" (fish) and, "Qian" (gold). Each character on their own refers to its typical translation, but when the characters are put together they take on their possessive meaning. In other words, "property or place of". The name is, therefore, "Place of the Golden Fish".
