Bahamut, the Dragon of Order

Harden yourselves against that which comes now. For your reward for that which will come then is sure to be great.
~ Bahamut, Dragon of Order ~

The Platinum Dragon

In the initial birth of the metallic dragons, a husband and a wife were ascended above them to be paragons that enforced the will of the Cosmigod and lived as divine judges. They were Tiamat and Bahamut. Bahamut is the god of all metallic dragons and represents ultimate divine zeal and authority. As legend goes, he and all other dragons like him were tasked to enforce divine law throughout Brinomir and destroy those who forsook it. However, the terror and horrid things of the universe tore at all dragons, and the weakest of them snapped and became the evil chromatic dragons of today, Tiamat among them as its queen, which Bahamut was forced to seal away deep inside Avernus in the Plane of the Damned.   Unlike other gods, there have been many Bahamuts as once decreed by the Cosmigod, that when one Bahamut falls, another will rise to take its place. Each of them have grown to embody the divine authority that Bahamut represents.

Dwelling

Bahamut continually watches over the bonds of Tiamat in Avernus, inside the Mountain of Chaos. Worthy souls who die in the name of the Cosmigod's law are taken from the Veil where they are made into powerful draconic servants that walk alongside Bahamut.

Domains

Bahamut represents the following domains:   Order. Bahamut represents discipline to the grand law that governs the hearts of all mortalkind. He seeks praise when it is carried out, and justice when it is perverted.   Zeal. It is not enough to abide in what is right, all mortals are obligated to obstensively call out and denounce any wrongdoing, working as best can be done to set it right. Those who follow Bahamut are often righteous paladins.

His truest followers know this and live to do the same.   Good. Bahamut is an active worker against ultimate evil in Brinomir. He brings forth good by vanquishing the evil that chokes it.

Symbol

Take the Dragon of Order's words to heart. Do not get so caught up in defending yourself from outside dragons that you are eaten alive by your dragons on the inside.
