Owner and CEO of Veg Corp who runs his main office through the town of Bucklewell. Gan Lan utilizes the cheap labor of share croppers to further his ambitions of becoming the number one agricultural force on the island.
Gan Lan's Daughter, Unalyse Lan, was kidnapped during the harvest festival and later rescued by the halfling adventurers. Upon returning the child to Gan Lan, it was additionally revealed to him that Veg Corp's business dealings had been intentionally sabotaged by Gregory and the Viscount.
Due to recent corporate espionage from Greg The Mariner, Gan Lan is forced to call upon the efforts of the local Halflings to stalk and discern the Viscount's larger plans. Gan Lan offers the Halflings a year without rent on their farms, one year without any quotas on their produce, and further promises the deed to Old Greg's shack to Darla if the adventurers are able to thwart the Viscount.
