The Moravi Court

While most guilds strive to grow their power and status at all costs, one such organization seeks to cut short the rise of shooting stars. Though many believe this guild, the Moravi Court, to be a mere myth, their sigil has been found at the sites of great disasters too often to be wholly dismissed.
The common rumor is that the Moravi Court is composed of the remnants of the Crimson Revel, Willow Haven, and Deep Reaches guilds. These three organizations were once on their way to forming the most powerful alliance the city had ever scene outside the noble courts. On the night they met to swear oaths of loyalty to one another, the leadership of these guilds were shown a vision of a dark future when a single guild ruled over all of Kunrai. What they saw was so horrible they immediately disbanded their own guild to form a new group of assassins and spies dedicated to ensuring their precognition never came to pass.
Since that night, the legend goes, the members of the Moravi Court have watched for any guild that threatens to grow too powerful, too quickly. When they uncover such an organization, the Court moves quickly to demolish the organization and dispose of its leadership. The flooding of the entire Abyssal Oil Cannery, and destruction of the Oil Watch guild, is believed to be the Court's work, as is the fire that wiped out the Red Hook Butchers, and the explosion that brought down the Wretched Alchemist tower.
Of late, the Moravi sigil has put in appearances near the homes of the nobility, which has led to increased security patrols in the wealthier neighborhoods. Some say the nobles are willing to negotiate with guilds in exchange for information and protection, something not even the Sacred Sages saw coming.
