Moonstone, are the fragments of Ucrapus, the broken moon and is a luxuary resource, extremely sought after by the nefadric empire for religious reasons.

History & Usage

Discovery

Shorthly after Ucrapus shattered and became the broken moon, fragments of it started to rain upon Kreworis. The smaller fragments burned it the atmosphere as they entered, however the largerst fragments wreaked havoc on Kreworis, leveling cities and shaping countrysides.

Everyday use

Moonstone is most commonly used for jewlery and somtimes for cerimonial weapons too. Though a handful of real weapons are made from moonstone too, however, this is rare, as moonstone needs to undergo serious refinement and master craftsmen to be a viable weapon material.

Cultural Significance and Usage

Within the nefadric empire, moonstone is a highly sought after good, as it is part of Ucrapus, a minior deity within the jubixian pantheon.

Jewlery
A small fragment of moonstone often is used to fashion expensive jewerly, such as rings, pendants, amulets, bracelets and so on.

Larger pieces of moonstone usually are carved into highly valueable pieces of art, such as religious icons or even full altars.
Cerimonial Weapons
There is an assortment of sacrificial daggers made from moonstone, that are made to dedicate living sacrifices to mourn the broken moon Ucrapus.

The sacred moonblades of the justicars of Nathou's scale, is a famous example of the quaity weapons that can be achived useing moonstone, when a master personaly takes up the project.
