The Horn of the Sea Peoples

In ancient times there was a group known as the Sea Peoples, whose true name as been forgotten in the waves of time, remembered only for the tales of their dark deeds, their bloodthirsty nature recorded in the old legends. A thorn in the side of progress since their beginning, they witheld the rise of would be emperors through geurilla warfare. Their gods were the Father of Storms, the Mother of the Endless Skies, and the Daughter of the Seas. As the Divines moved, so did their followers, chasing after the great storms which led to many lands yet unspoiled.
Many artifacts of great religous significance were used by these people, though none more important than the Horn. As storms battered the land, the Sea Peoples would sail through the turbultent seas, assualting port towns and cutting down any that stood before them. Answering the crack of thunder with the bleeting of thier horns, they believed that the Father of Storms would hear their calling, and gaze approvingly upon their triumph. They fought not for riches, nor fame. The only thing that they required was that there was enough sacrifices captured, and that their dance of blood would entertain the gods.
The Horn of the Sea Peoples is an ancient artifact, and one of the rare artifacts remaining from the Old Ways, when people ruled through might alone. The Horn as been preserved by the Kings of the Sun, kept safe in the trusted hands of courtly advisors and clerics. Made of ivory and silver, with horns spirling gently, curving towards itself like that of a ram, the horn is a beautifully haunting sight to behold. The ridges through the horn causes it to make the sound similar to that of a bleeting sheep.
