The Giantbane War
With the final defeat of the Dragonlord Kheghamsë in 980 LE, there was a power vacuum. The giant king Pülb tried to fill that void with the strength of the giants, over whom he ruled as High King. He was successful for a while, but in 990 LE, the other sentient races came against his tyrannical rule. For six years, war raged. In the end, the giants were driven from power, as well.
