Ūni, son of Dhurrun
Kuyy Iū Ūni son of Dhurrun , Servant of the Yarru ki shā Bīmīn thū Kūt Fādā (a.k.a. called the Unyielding)
Ūni, Son of Dhurrun, known formally as Kuyy Iū Ūni and often called Ūni the Unyielding or The Green Magistrate, was a powerful and deeply feared figure in Khāghā. A Rān minarg of exceptional strength and discipline, he stood 6'4" tall, weighed about 250 lbs, and had distinctive green skin, black reflective eyes, and a bald head with a fringe of shoulder-length charcoal-gray hair worn loose. His typical garb was austere: rough breeches, heavy boots, a rugged bearskin mantle, and a magical staff he wielded as a symbol of his authority.
Personality Characteristics
Representation & Legacy
Ūni served as High Regulator (Kuyy Iū) of the Yarru ki shā Bīmīn thū Kūt Fādā, the organization that oversaw all arcane regulation in Khāghān society. As High Regulator, he held supreme authority over magical licensing, enforcement, and education, acting with near-absolute autonomy. His rule was marked by ruthlessness, paranoia, corruption, an unshakable belief that his actions upheld order and societal stability, regardless of the methods.
He despised noble corruption and believed magic was a sacred, dangerous trust rather than a personal right. Despite these views, he hypocritically took bribes and offered extra-legal magical services to those who could afford them. Many feared him, including apprentices, master wizards, and even nobles, who whispered of his secret courts and grim dealings. Yet despite this fear, his unyielding nature anchored Khāghā’s magical society for decades, making him both a vital guardian and a chilling oppressor.
