Carnival Shenanigans
Dying of boredom. I lean against the bunk bed. Watching Pearl jump from bed to bed waiting for the inevitable. Titus talks to the two new people we have met. I really wish we could go find some monsters to fight. Yesterday was really fun. I need to practice. I can do the light spell in here without getting in trouble. When I hear the Elvish tongue spoken I look up to Titus, Karalee and Nin. It means "Wet Ears" I speak up. Not knowing if they caught on that I speak Elvish... I like Nin. He's a special type of person. He reminds me of the little ones I left in Paridon. I find myself wanting to watch over him, make sure he's ok. Karalee on the other hand, is a strong one. She seems head foward and I like it. She keeps us moving. I find myself liking that more since I've been away from home. I hope the little ones are doing ok, with me gone...... I need to practice more. There is heat and fire all around. No one will notice if I cast Create Bonfire, will they? Haha I made the big ones jump. Hmmm going to take Nin back to the carnival. I don't think that is a good place for him. They call him "Wet Ears". I bet they bully him. Wow this is turning into a long trip. I'm not sure Nin or anyone else knows where we are going. I miss that about home. I always knew where I was and where I was going. Karalee looked at me funny when I told the others what she said. I don't understand. If there is nothing here, no sign of the carnival, shouldn't everybody know? I'm starving. Good we are headed to the inn. Welp looks like this is an information trip and not a food trip..... I don't see how they can go so long without eating...... I haven't had second breakfast in a long time. Well no wonder we didn't see the carnival. Nin had us going in the opposite direction. PIE! Thank the gods someone mentioned pie. Fruit pie is the best. Watching Nin and Pearl together is the best. I hope one day Titus realizes sometimes it's the little things in life that make it worth living. I know he gets annoyed with their shenanigans sometimes. But, sometimes you need to just sit back, laugh and let whatever is happening happen. Finally, found the carnival. I don't like the gnome. There is something not right about this place. Maybe, I should take a look around. See what I can see or hear. I don't like all these cages... No one or thing is meant to live like that. After overhearing what I have, I feel something bad is going to happen here. Maybe not today but, eventually it will. So it might as well happen while we are here. Eyeballing the four armed ape creature. I bet he's fun. Let's go find out. Crap they caught me..... Maybe I need to regroup with the others and see what they think. They agree about the caged beings. But, now there are kids everywhere. Nin wants to stay?!?!?!? Oh no that ain't happening. Hmmm I like the idea of checking out the gnome's living quarters. Look at Titus lying?!?!? Hmmm, guess there is all kinds of paladins. Did he just ask me to break into the gnome's home? Oh I like it! Don't see any traps.. Welp here we go. Ouch! What the...................
