The Tenebrine and the Raveners continue their confrontations, but the Queen's Men become more cautious and start focusing on gathering intelligence about the Vile Ones' true numbers and capabilities.   The Grung attacks escalate, targeting supply lines and strategic positions of both the Tenebrine and the Raveners, making it difficult for either side to maintain a stronghold in the mausoleum plane.   Realizing that they need reinforcements, the Queen's Men seek allies to bolster their forces. They enter into a contract with the 826th Cohort of Malbolge, hiring the devilish mercenaries to aid them in their battle against the Sesh'Genasi invaders.

The 826th Cohort of Malbolge arrives, led by the cunning fiend Doshentus. Their arrival boosts the Queen's Men's morale, and they launch joint offensives with the mercenary devils against the Raveners.   While the 826th Cohort proves effective in engaging the Raveners in direct combat, they struggle to cope with the Grung's guerilla tactics, suffering significant losses from ambushes and traps set by the frog-like warriors.   The full clan of the Vile Ones arrives, led by their commander, Zal'gar the Defiler. With their numbers bolstered, the Raveners and the Vile Vanguard unleash a relentless assault on the Queen's Men and the 826th Cohort.   The Grung, emboldened by the chaos and discord among their enemies, increase their attacks, targeting not only the belligerents but also sowing confusion and mistrust among them.   The conflict escalates into full-scale warfare, with all three belligerents engaging in fierce battles, each seeking to gain the upper hand in this dark and malevolent war over the mausoleum plane.

This darkness confounds the Blythopoly Coalition's troops, hindering their ability to perceive and respond to the enemy's movements effectively. Additionally, the Shard of Void can release torrents of shadowy energy that sap the strength and morale of those caught within its range, causing confusion, fear, and exhaustion.   The artifact's power can be further harnessed to unleash devastating shadow-based attacks, such as bolts of searing darkness, necrotic energies that drain the life force from opponents, and illusions that deceive and bewilder the enemy. It becomes a formidable weapon in the hands of the Sesh'Genasi, giving them a significant advantage in battles and helping them regain the upper hand in the conflict.   Its use amplifies the malevolent tendencies of the Vile Ones, making them even more formidable and menacing adversaries on the mausoleum plane.

In the twelfth month, Blythopoly erupts into a wild and exuberant celebration following their hard-won victory over the Sesh'Genasi. The entire city-state comes alive with festivities, revelry, and joyous merriment. Streets are adorned with colorful banners, and the air is filled with music, laughter, and the sounds of cheers and applause.   The celebration begins with a grand parade, where the victorious Blythopoly Coalition marches through the city with their battle-worn banners held high. Their eerie presence adds an element of mystery and dark allure to the festivities. With their powerful magic on display during the war, they are revered as heroes by the people of Blythopoly, and tales of their sorcery become the stuff of legends.   In a creative display of triumph, life-size effigies representing the Sesh'Genasi commanders are crafted and paraded through the streets.
