Stout Halfling

Stout halflings are stolid, homey, and laid back. They venture out of their holes far less often than their Lightfoot cousins,, as they are usually more content to stay at home and enjoy a few good meals. They are more likely to be traders than adventurers, though once they get a taste for it they don't mind being late for dinner every now and then.

Beauty Ideals

Stout halflings admire curves and a calm demeanor. Dimpled, full cheeks, sparkling eyes, and curls are desirable. A few too many pounds is always preferable to too few.

Courtship Ideals

Stout halflings seek out one-on-one time while courting, usually over food. A stout that can't cook is rare, and usually doomed to unluckiness in love. If a courting pair aren't eating, then they are likely having a quiet conversation or simply reading books in the same room.

Relationship Ideals

Stouts take the desire to 'settle down' with a loved one to an extreme. They seek comfort and compatibility.
