The Fighting Badgers

The Woolman school sports team. The mascot is a badger with a pickaxe and hard-hat, in reference to the old mine. Pride for the team has waned as their record for has gotten battered in the last couple of decades, ever deepening the rivalry against our neighboring town, the much wealthier Faith Ridge Lions.
