Wind Magic

Manipulation of the air is generally the second manifesting ability in a spellster's arsenal. The most common being short blasts to keep an advancing threat at bay or knocking them off their feet to aid in escaping. These particular bouts are often done spontaneously and with little finesse but, with practice, such manipulation can be honed to the point a small flick is all that's needed to begin a far larger gale.

Gestures & Ritual

Like most magic within the realm, using gestures isn't a requirement. That being said, those who use this particular branch of magic also tend to telegraph their intentions via little twitches of the fingers or sweeping motions with their arms. With training, this almost instinctual quirk can be reduce, if not outright erased, but few find it necessary.
